8 months old and enjoying the outdoors

You love being outside and spend a lot of time playing in the grass. You don't mind how the grass feels...you are quite curious

You melt our hearts honey...we love you!

Luke loves spending time in the nude! We usually let him spend a few minutes in the nude right before he gets ready for bed! This occurs nightly and he is so happy!

Luke's new thing is crawling in his exersaucer...he will do this over and over again. It was so hilarious watching him think about how he was going to get out the first time

We are having more and more fun taking Luke's monthly bear picture... he is a very busy boy

Luke are growing up way too fast for our liking, time is flying by and we can't believe that you are already 8 months old. This past month has been a very exciting month for you reaching so many new milestones. You are a very busy, curious, happy little boy! Mommy and Daddy love you so much and you make each day filled with joy, and you make us laugh everyday!

Here is what you are up to:

-you are crawling like a crazy man (started at 7 1/2 months)

-you are pulling yourself up on all the furniture

-you love playing with Gunner, you laugh and squeal whenever you see him

-you are still wearing size 3 diapers

-you are eating rice, fruits, veggies, and we just started adding meats and yogurt

-you are such a great eater

-you are nursing/bottle 5 times a day

-mommy quit nursing you three days after your 8 month birthday

-you enjoy play dates at the park and children's museum

-you usually are ready for bed around 7:30-8:00pm and sleep until 5:30-6:30 depending on the day

-you had your first sickness in April, you had a bad sore throat and just wanted mommy

-you crawl and reach out to mommy and daddy all the time

-you are becoming quite the mommy's boy (I love it)

-you are wearing 6-12 month clothing

-you don't like your jumparoo as much anymore, you rather crawl and stand at your music station better

-we had to baby proof the house and put up a gate

-you started crawling up the stairs on your 8 month birthday

-you weigh 20 lbs

-you had your first taste of avocado, you didn't know what to think at first but ate it all up

-we had to lower your crib and within days you were standing at the rail as happy as can be

AND we can't forget about Gunner
