Little Turkeys

Thanksgiving day, 70 degrees...that doesn't sound right, does it? Well, it was a beautiful day to celebrate the many blessings we are thankful for...Enjoy our cute little turkeys and a few outtakes. Getting a nice picture of two busy little boys, one and three years-old, is nearly impossible...but quite fun!
Our two little turkeys that we are ever so thankful for this day & always
"No, Ben, you stand right here!"
"Luke, I got it, I'm the looking at the camera with the cutest little smile!"
Ben-"I'm outta here, I already smiled for the camera"
"Ok, get back here and let's try this again!"
Luke- "I got some moves mama, see me dance!"

Decorating & feels like Spring

We have been taking advantage of the unseasonably warm temperatures these past couple of weeks. The boys love to be outside and so do we!
It's not as cold as Ben is dressed...it was a little windy and I'm a little extra cautious with his ears! He loves this little popper, this was actually a gift that Uncle Mitch gave Luke for his 1st birthday. I remember Mitch giving it to Luke and  he laughed as he said "Ha Ha Tiff, this is going to drive you nuts!" The sound of the popping is music to my ears and has a whole new meaning!
Luke playing soccer with his daddy
Yes, this is November 18th!
Although it doesn't feel a lot like Christmas, it is beginning to around our house
My little helpers had so much fun putting the ornaments on the tree. It is not the most fancy tree, but each ornament was put on with so much thought and tender touch from these two little cuties
Ben kept grabbing ornaments from the tub and when I looked, I found nearly 6 ornaments just setting in the tree branches, he was so proud!
 My little helper
Sunday morning pancake making with daddy! It use to be just Luke on the chair, now we make room for two little helpers. Monkey see Monkey do...that's what its all about in our house right now and I just love watching Ben mimic Luke.

Happy Halloween 2012
Ready to go Trick or Treating with the Collin's family
Luke and Ben are little football buddies
Luke wanted to be a football player for Halloween so we decided to honor Uncle Mitch and wear his number when he played football for the Waukon Indians. Uncle Mitch helped lead his team to the state playoffs his senior year of high school for the first time in school history. I know Mitch was so proud to see Luke sporting his football number.
Our cute little Benny Batman
This too, was in honor of Ben's Godfather Mitch
Each year for Christmas my dad buys us DVD's of the hottest new movies out. Mitch had just seen the new Batman and requested that he gets Batman this year for Christmas. Mitch never cared about which movie he got, even though we always had a chance to swap or exchange, he was grateful for whatever he received. He told us the weekend we were together, all he wanted this year for Christmas was the new Batman movie...I can bet that he will get it!

Football Fun

A few weeks ago Sean and I took in the Iowa night game vs Penn State. We usually go to one game a year, the two of us, and this so happened to be the game that worked out. Unfortunately it was a blow out, but we did enjoy seeing some great friends.

With our good friend Matt, and his girlfriend Brandi
Having a little pregame fun!
