Ben's baptism

God Bless Benjamin David Merrick, October 9, 2011

This weekend we had the great pleasure of celebrating Ben's baptism into the Catholic Church. It was a beautiful celebration, and equally beautiful day. Ben is a lucky little boy to have so much love and support surround him as he joined the Catholic Church this past weekend. All of our family was able to join us, with the exception of my brother and his wife, Nate & Debbie, who live if Seattle. They were back when Ben was born and will be back over Christmas. We enjoyed the weekend with our family beginning Saturday evening with out of town guests arriving, and celebrated Sunday after mass with a brunch at our home. It was a very proud day for Sean and I to see our son baptized into the love of God's Holy Church!
