Well, the weather forecast stood correct, unfortunately! We were pummeled by another band of Lake Effect snow, 6-8 inches with another 5 inches expected through tomorrow morning, I love living in West Michigan! (it wouldn't be so bad if we hadn't already received 110 inches of snow and it wasn't then end of FEBRUARY!!!) Sean was suppose to arrive late last night from a trip to Washington D.C., however they circled over Kalamazoo and headed back Detroit where they landed the plane. The visibility was less than 1/2 a mile and they couldn't land safely. I am thankful that he is safe and sound, but Gunner and I would have loved to have him home last night. He's been gone quite a bit this last month and has several more travel dates coming up in March. He is expected to get home around noon today, so keep your fingers crossed.
If you recall, we had a horrible trip back to Iowa for Christmas due to unfavorable weather conditions, 13 hours later...we arrived in Waukon safely (normally its a 7 hour trip). We vowed to ourselves that we would stay put until the snow was completely gone!!! Unfortunately this recent snowstorm put a damper on my weekend plans as well, no road trip for me:(
Looks like another lazy Sunday of watching Iowa Basketball vs Michigan. I took advantage of my day alone yesterday to clean and catch up on laundry so today will be a true day of relaxation...ahhh:)
Happy Sunday to you all, enjoy it wherever you are!

This is our back patio...a lot of work if you ask me!
Gunner loves all the snow
